Leadership Team

Human Potential Consultants, LLC (HPC) is a minority-owned and woman-owned innovative business enterprise specializing in comprehensive government contracting solutions nationwide.  Founded by Garnett Newcombe in 1997, HPC was launched on the belief that assisting individuals to improve their overall stability, mental health, self-worth, work readiness and soft skills, which in turns increases their long-term job opportunities. and ultimately leads them to a better future.

Dr. Garnett Newcombe is the Founder and President of Human Potential Consultants, LLC (HPC).  She has over 30 years of experience in community outreach, recruitment and program development. Her expertise in research and project management evolved while teaching as an Adjunct Professor at several Southern California community colleges and California State University, Dominguez Hills, for more than 10 years.  Newcombe has received numerous awards and recognitions nationally to include U. S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as one of the 100 businesses that have created at least 100 jobs prior to graduating from the 8(a) program and the “Give Me Five” award presented by Women Impacting Public Policy.  This award honors leaders who have dedicated time and energy to the small business community locally, nationally and world-wide.

Deidre Norville, CEO Human Potential Consultants

Deidre Norville, LMSW, assumed the role of CEO at HPC in 2021. Her journey at HPC began in 2000, overseeing contracts for social programs and managing residential facilities and in-prison programs. As Chief Operations Officer over the subsequent decade, she supervised the onboarding and training of 150 employees across 9 states, fostering a positive work environment. Deidre’s responsibilities expanded to include financial management of government contracts, workforce programs, and compliance across all of HPC’s community- based programs. With over 20 years of leadership experience, Deidre holds a master’s degree in social work and is a licensed master’s level social worker in Texas. She has served as a Policy professor for more than 8 years in the MSW program at the University of Southern California and has extensive experience in diverse social work roles with various populations. Actively engaged in professional affiliations and community service, Deidre presents at regional conferences on various community-based organization topics.

James Norville II is the Chief Operations & Safety Officer at HPC. With more than 27 years of experience, he establishes, formulates, and directs strategies to prudently structure safety and related operations for HPC’s internal departments and project locations nationwide. With 20 years of experience in the company, James is responsible for the development, implementation, and process flow of safety operations for the company. James also actively oversees research, onboarding, and management of specific contract acquisitions and project site locations. He collaborates with different departments, locations, and clients to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and devise effective strategies to mitigate them. James also conducts regular safety audits, inspections, and training sessions to ensure that HPC’s workforce is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle emergency situations and prevent accidents.

Lenora Vides

Lenora Vides is the Business Manager at HPC. With 17 years of experience in the company, Lenora is responsible for overseeing and managing the business operations at HPC. Lenora’s primary responsibilities include financial management, strategic planning, and ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day business activities. She works closely with the executive team to develop and implement effective business strategies that drive growth and profitability for HPC.

Lakesha Haynes

Lakesha Haynes is a highly skilled Project & QA Manager at HPC. With an impressive tenure of 11 years at HPC, Lakesha is responsible for overseeing, managing, and ensuring quality assurance for various projects within HPC and nationwide. She works closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of deliverables. As the QA manager, Lakesha plays a vital role in onboarding and training new personnel for the project site locations. She maintains efficiency and compliance in relation to project staff, subcontractors, and HPC contract requirements. Lakesha is also responsible for ensuring safe and secure work environments at all HPC project locations. She actively collaborates with HPC safety teams and project locations to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and develop comprehensive safety protocols and procedures. She conducts regular safety audits, inspections, and training sessions to ensure that HPC’s workforce is well-equipped to handle emergency situations and prevent accidents.

Eric Hilton

Eric Hilton, Esq., is the Legal Advisor at HPC. With an impressive tenure of 10 years at HPC, Eric is responsible for consulting on legal matters and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. He works closely with the executive team and department heads to identify potential legal risks and develop effective strategies to mitigate them. Eric’s expertise also includes contract review and negotiation, intellectual property protection, and dispute resolution.
